1) Who we are
Controller: Municipality of Tetovo (“we”, “us”).
Contact: Replace with your official contact email (e.g., support@<your-domain>) and postal address. If you have a Data Protection Officer (DPO), list their contact details here.
2) Scope
This policy applies to the App and related services. It does not cover third-party websites or services you may access through links from the App.
3) Information we collect
Depending on which features you use and the permissions you grant, we may process the following categories of data:
- Account & Contact info — name, email address, phone number (if you register or contact us).
- Reports & Attachments — text you submit, photos/videos/files you upload to report municipal issues or request services.
- Location data — approximate or precise location (e.g., to attach a location to a report or show nearby services). Location is collected only when you choose features that need it.

- Usage data — in-app actions, timestamps, interactions used to improve service reliability and user support.

- Communicate with you about your requests, issues, or account.
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the App (including debugging and analytics).

Legal bases (EEA/UK/Similar regimes). Where applicable, we rely on one or more of: performance of a contract; legitimate interests (e.g., service quality, security); consent (for optional features like precise location or notifications); and legal obligation.
6) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, to comply with legal requirements, or to resolve disputes. Retention periods may vary by record type (e.g., reports, account data, logs). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
7) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls). However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
8) Your rights & choices
- Access, correction, deletion — You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete it where applicable.
- Objection & restriction — You may object to certain processing or ask us to restrict it.
